AFTER the first round of the NBA Draft provided some surprises yesterday, there were plenty of talking points about the second round today. We provide the list of every draft selection.
Widely regarded as a first round selection, there was a touch of disappointment for Aussie Johnny Furphy when his name was left on the board after night one. Expected to go high on night two, Furphy only had to wait five more picks until Indiana Pacers selected the Kansas freshman with Pick 35.
The draft had its fairytale storylines too, with Los Angeles Lakers pairing Bronny James up with his father LeBron in what could see the the first ever father and son take the court together in an NBA match. They have already made history by being in the competition at the same time, let alone on the same list.
In other night two results, NBL players Bobi Klintman and Ariel Hukporti found homes, with Pistons and Knicks doing deals respectively to secure their men. The pair joined second pick Alexandre Sarr (Perth Wildcats) and Pick 23 AJ Johnson (Illawarra) in the NBA after the Wizards and Bucks scooped them up respectively.
