2024 NBA Draft First Round: Pick-by-Pick
THE FIRST Round of the NBA Draft has been done and run today with 30 more players on NBA lists. Atlanta Hawks went with Frenchman Zaccharie Risacher at pick one, going with the player they had closely watched over his compatriot Alexandre Sarr. The Perth Wildcats big man did not have to wait long however, taken with the very next pick by the Washington Wizards.
Freshmen Reed Sheppard and Stephon Castle out of Kentucky and UConn went next, before Detroit Pistons pick up G League forward, Ron Holland. The only team with two picks inside the top 10 – San Antonio Spurs – added Castle and Kentucky’s Rob Dillingham to the list to provide an exciting future backcourt duo.
