THE 2025/26 college basketball season is set to begin in just over a month, as the next crop of stars look to lead their side to the National Championship, as well as develop their own craft ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft.
Over recent years, the number of Australian players within the collegiate system has grown exponentially, with plenty of representation last season in particular, and that number is set to be significant once again, with college scouts finding plenty of talent down under.
Now another group of talented Australian prospects will be suiting up in the coming months, with a healthy mix of returning players and fresh faces set to hit the court in front of packed stadiums in the United States.
Headlining the list of players will be the returning Alex Condon, who withdrew from the 2025 NBA Draft and will be heading back to a starring role for the Florida Gators in his Sophomore season, having entered draft conversations following a tremendous debut campaign.
The big man has the potential to be a first round selection in June of next year, and if he can build on his performances from his Freshman season, could move even further up draft boards throughout the NCAAM fixture.
Of the players set to join the collegiate system for the first time, Roman Siulepa and Jacob Furphy are the standouts. Both players have represented Australia over the past 12 months after tremendous junior campaigns, and are expected to make a big splash when they touch down in the United States and get some playing time.
