Robinson produced one of the more remarkable campaigns in the Summer League for 2023, shining for the Miami Heat and being named to the First-Team All-Summer-League as a result of his standout performances.
The 23-year-old averaged a stunning 29.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists on 57 per cent shooting from the field, announcing himself as one to watch in the upcoming NBA season. The Heat already have a great track record with finding undrafted gems, and Robinson seems to have the potential to be another one on this list.
Coming from the G-League, Robinson showed he belongs on an NBA list, delivering a serious level of offensive output and impact.
He was a pillar of consistency for Miami, and performed all the way through until the Heat’s final game, where they blew out the Portland Trail Blazers. Robinson produced 27 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three steals, all on 10/15 shooting from the field in the perfect way to cap off an excellent campaign.
The highly skilled big man used all his weapons during the Summer League to great effect, showcasing deft touch around the rim and an innate ability to find the bottom of the net much easier than his peers. It was a statement campaign from the G-League graduate, who has now firmly put his hand up for selection at the top level after exploding onto the scene against some of the best and brightest the NBA has to offer.
