The only way is up for the Bendigo Spirit, after a winless 2020 season resulted in a bottom placed finish on the ladder.
Both the experience of Carly Boag and the young talent of Alana Goodchild coming in will help, but the Spirit’s biggest singing for this season is dual Olympian Leilani Mitchell, who comes across from the Southside Flyers. Maddie Garrick also returns to the Spirit.
