THE 2021 Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) returns on December 4, meaning it is time for our season previews to begin. Today is the Melbourne Boomers, who finished fourth in 2020.

For the third season in a row, the Boomers made the finals without making the Grand Final, and heading into 2021/22 they will be desperately trying to end their 12-season long title drought.
They have retained their experienced core trio of Cayla George, Ezi Magbegor and Tess Madgen, but have also added the likes of Lindsay Allen and Tiffany Mitchell from the WNBA.
