THE 2021 Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) returns on December 4, meaning it is time for our season previews to begin. First up is the Adelaide Lightning, who finished sixth in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recruits: <\/strong>Alanna Smith (returns from injury), Jasmin Fejo (return from maternity leave), Kiana Williams (USA), Kylee Shook (USA), Samantha Simons (Forestville Eagles), Tayla Brazel (Sturt Sabres)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Squad list:<\/strong> Adelaide will be looking to improve on last season\u2019s result after finishing sixth and missing the playoffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lightning has made some key recruits in the off season, including local talent from the NBL1, Samantha Simons<\/strong> and Tayla Brazel,<\/strong> and New York Liberty star Kylee Shook<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Opal Alanna Smith <\/strong>also returns this season after missing the 2020 season due to injury.
