THE NBL season is getting closer and closer, and moves are still being made by all clubs around the competition to fill out their rosters ahead of the fixture start. The Tasmania JackJumpers<\/a> have finalised their list for the upcoming season, acquiring the services of versatile big man Majok Deng<\/a> to round things out. The JackJumpers have completed a fair change of their roster, with the likes of Josh Magette<\/a> and Rashard Kelly<\/a> departing the team, and Tasmania replacing them with Jordon Crawford <\/strong>and Marcus Lee<\/a>, while adding veteran Anthony Drmic<\/a> as well in a steady build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After already losing Xavier Cooks<\/a> to the NBA following the conclusion of last season, the Sydney Kings<\/a> have lost another key piece to their championship side, with star guard Dejan Vasiljevic<\/a> opting out of his NBL contract for the upcoming season. Given his performances in big games, it would make sense for the explosive scorer to attract international attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, the Kings will be bringing back former NBA centre Jonah Bolden<\/strong>, who quit the NBL previously to pursue Cryptocurrency. He and fellow signing Alex Toohey<\/strong> have been the big fishes acquired for the team during the offseason, and should help cover the losses mentioned above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Illawarra Hawks<\/a> have snagged the signature of one of the most sought after international recruits, with Gary Clark<\/strong> joining the team. The forward brings NBA experience as the Hawks look to retool and go again, a goal which will be boosted by the inclusion of Justin Robinson<\/a>, who missed essentially the entirety of last season and will feel like a new recruit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Former Illawarra centre Mangok Mathiang<\/a> will make the trek over the Tasman for the upcoming season, joining the New Zealand Breakers<\/a>.
