WITH both teams eyeing off the same spot in the play-in tournament, the Brisbane Bullets<\/a> delivered a four quarter performance in their 18-point win over the Adelaide 36ers<\/a> at Nissan Arena on Friday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bullets were out to bounce back following their Round 18 loss over the Illawarra Hawks, while the 36ers looked to keep their chances of making the play-in tournament alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bullets had strong start from Nathan Sobey<\/a>, who scored the first seven points of the game and lifted the tempo of the match. Both teams were shooting the ball at a high volume from two point range. The Bullets made six shots from inside the arc on 11 attempts, compared to the 36ers, who shot 6\/13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With scores remaining even still in the second quarter, the Bullets went on a 16-3 scoring run, before the Sixers went on a 8-0 run of their own as momentum shifted throughout the first half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the Bullets winning the second quarter, 30-24, they maintained an eight-point lead at half time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bullets maintained control in the second half, winning the third quarter 24-23 and last term 26-17, doing enough to secure a 102-84 victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sobey was on song from tip-off and showed ripping form when shooting from behind the arc, finishing as the top scorer with 37 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals, while shooting 13\/22 from the field, 7\/14 from two point range, and 6\/8 from three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mitch Norton<\/a> played a solid role, doing well as a facilitator and sharing the ball with 15 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aron Baynes<\/a> made the most of his starting role, finishing with 10 points, eight rebounds and three assists, while Sam McDaniel<\/a>, Josh Bannan<\/a> and Casey Prather<\/a> all finished with nine points each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
