ROUND 11 of the 2025\/26 National Basketball League (NBL) season continues tonight, when the Brisbane Bullets<\/a> head to South Australia to take on the Adelaide 36ers<\/a> in what will be a tall task for the visiting team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sixers have been one of the stronger teams throughout the fixture, coming out of the international break sitting second on the ladder, while the Bullets are sitting further down the standings in ninth place after the Illawarra Hawks<\/a> overtook Brisbane with a win over the SEM Phoenix<\/a> in thrilling fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the Bullets will be heavy underdogs against a championship contender in Adelaide, there have been a pair of upsets already take place in Round 11, and Brisbane will fancy its chances of continuing that trend tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sixers have been one of the best teams in the competition this season, banking on some high-profile recruiting over the offseason in a move that has paid dividends. Midway through the season, Adelaide is one of the biggest threats to the championship and moved one step closer to stealing top spot on the ladder after Melbourne United<\/a> lost last night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their stacked roster is a massive positive, and will likely cause Brisbane troubles tonight given how much talent the Sixers possess. Their most recent outing was a win over the Phoenix prior to the FIBA break, and the depth of Adelaide’s list was on full display, with Dejan Vasiljevic<\/a> being the one to step up late in the game with 17 fourth-quarter points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obviously Bryce Cotton<\/a> is a crucial factor within the match tonight – as he is every time the five-time MVP hits the floor – but there is one Adelaide name that brings even more intrigue. Import Troy Brown Jr. <\/strong>will be looking to make a statement performance to truly mark his arrival to the NBL. The former NBA wing has plenty of talent and could take the Sixers to the championship, so look for him to make his mark against Brisbane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been an eventful season for the Bullets so far throughout the 2025\/26 fixture, and not always for the right reasons. It is now an extremely different looking Brisbane outfit from Round 1, especially on the import front, but there is no doubt tonight’s visitors will be eager to cause an upset at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Losing Casey Prather<\/a> to injury and parting ways with Jaylen Adams<\/a> has taken away what was looking like a championship core coming into the season. However, there are still some gun players in the rotation, including returning import Javon Freeman-Liberty<\/strong>, who has returned to the team after a stint back in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has shown his scoring capabilities already in the NBL, averaging 19 points per game over his two outings with the Bullets at the start of the season. Freeman-Liberty will be eager to pick up exactly where he left off and take the scoring mantle for the team. Although there may be some rust, the import is more than capable of being one of the best offensive players in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
