Perth Lynx rose to the top of the ladder off the back of some great work from <\/span><b>Brittany McPhee. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite the Capitals falling to second, <\/span><b>Kia Nurse <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Keely Froling <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">both had big contributions over the weekend. Bendigo\u2019s <\/span><b>Kara Tessari <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">also stood up and impressed, and <\/span><b>Lindsay Allen <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">continued to show consistency for the Boomers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>#3 Kara Tessari &#8211; Bendigo Spirit<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was a hard-fought game against the Lynx, with the Spirit going down by five points. But Kara Tessari was one of the solid contributors for Bendigo. She scored 11 points from 12 minutes of game time, proving that with more minutes, she could be a very damaging player for the Spirit. Tessari had less luck in the big loss against the Lightning though, getting just the one point in eight minutes of game time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>#11 Kia Nurse &#8211; UC Capitals <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kia Nurse continued to give the opposition headaches with her ability to continually rack up the points. Against Melbourne, she was the leading point-scorer on the court, with 29. She complemented this with five rebounds and one assist. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>#15 Lindsay Allen &#8211; Melbourne United <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Allen is proving to be one of Melbourne\u2019s most important players, putting in big performances each week. Against Canberra, she scored 17 points, the equal most points on the court for the Boomers. Allen backed this up with three rebounds and five assists in a great all-round game. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>#21 Keely Froling &#8211; UC Capitals<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keely Froling stepped up to the occasion on Friday night, contributing well to try and get her side over the line. From 18 minutes, she ended up with 10 points and five rebounds in one of her better games of the season. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>#24 Brittany McPhee &#8211; Perth Lynx <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">McPhee has continued to build on her big start to the season, and has played a big part in Perth\u2019s berth at the top of the table this season. While she didn\u2019t get over double digits in the stats categories against Bendigo, she still played a great all-round game. She ended with nine points, five rebounds and four assists.
