3rd XI

Plenty Valley batted first, and had a bit of a disaster with the bat.

They were bowled out for 62 with only Dianne Herman hitting the only double figure score, which was roughly a third of her side’s total.

Lillian Strong was the pick of Dandenong’s bowlers, taking 4/12 off eight overs, which did include a maiden. Sarah Clark and skipper Grace Lewis both took two wickets.

In reply, the task was hardly a challenge for Dandenong, reaching the target in the 15th over. Captain Renee Williams took two wickets for the Bats.

Box Hill vs Prahran

2nd XI

Box Hill ripped through the Prahran lineup to dismiss the True Blues for only 74.

All of Box Hill’s bowlers took at least one wicket, with Emma Stilve the top wicket taker with three.

A 58 from Pennie Harrison insured the task was always going to be a simple one for the Mustangs, and they reached the target in the 13th over.

3rd XI

Unfortuantely for both sides, the 3rd XI game was abandoned and did not go ahead.

Geelong vs Ringwood

2nd XI

Geelong ripped through the Ringwood batting line up and bowled them out for only 98.

Haylee Landi was the only Ram batters to get a decent start, making 44. Captain Renee Cox took three wickets for the Cats, while Aisha Hendriks and Shanaye Alexander took two wickets each.

In reply, despite an early stumble Geelong recovered and reached the target easily. Stella de Roos was the best of the Rams’ bowlers with two wickets.

3rd XI

After an early stumble, Geelong somewhat recovered to make 167 before being bowled out.

57 from Heidi Schneider certainly helped make Geelong’s target competitive.

For the Rams, Ella Russell took three wickets, while Alicia Gugele and Muthu Velmurugan took two each.

Juliet Edwards’ dismissal for a duck was a sign of things to come for Ringwood though as they couldn’t quite make the target, falling 31 runs short.

Grace Schrama took three wickets for the Cats, while Sophie Walsh took two.
