AN exciting addition to the Australian international season of cricket’s fixture has been revealed, with Australia A set to take on India A to kick off a packed schedule.
The series is set to take place in August, and will take place in Brisbane, Mackay and on the Gold Coast.
There will be three types of matches in the series – a four day match, three ODIs and as many T20s.
The three Australian squads have a mixture of players in terms of how many opportunities they have had at international level.
There are players in the squad like Maddy Darke who have had essentially no international experience, Tess Flintoff who has made a few A squads and have been reserves around the senior team, and then there are regular senior team members like Tahlia McGrath and Megan Schutt.
