Australian Under 19 World Cup squad revealed
IT IS an exciting time for Australia’s next group of young stars, with the squad for the Under 19 Women’s World Cup named this week.

Leading the pace attack will be the likes of Chloe Ainsworth and Lucy Hamilton, who are both coming off impressive WBBL campaigns.

It has been a big week for spinner Hasrat Gill, with this announcement coming off the back of the news that she has moved from the Stars to the Thunder for next WBBL season.
Caoimhe Bray also continues her ascent, with the 15-year-old breakout star of the WBBL now on her way to her first World Cup.
17-year-old Ines McKeon, fresh off her debut WBBL season, will now head off to her first World Cup, but does have international experience after having represented France in the past.
ACT Meteors pair Amy Hunter and Grace Lyons are also in the squad, as is Queensland quick Lily Bassingthwaighte, NSW pair Ella Briscoe and Juliette Morton, and Victorian Sara Kennedy.
The 2025 Under 19 World Cup will take place in Malaysia from January 18 to February 2, and Australia is in Group D alongside Bangladesh, Scotland and Nepal. The Australian side will be coached by Australian legend Kristen Beams.
