Mumbai mute Warrior ressurgence to return to WPL peak

THE MUMBAI Indians have halted the resurgence of the UP Warriorz, beating the Warriorz by eight wickets overnight.
It was a tale of responding to poor starts.
Chasing 143 for victory, Mumbai found themselves on the ropes about halfway through the fourth over, but then Natalie Sciver-Brunt and Hayley Matthews went on a scoring spree, putting on a 133 run partnership in just over 13 overs to get their side right back on track. Sciver-Brunt went on to make 75 not out while Matthews made 59.
Earlier The Warriorz had their own bad start, falling to 1-2 in the opening over, but then thanks to a Grace Harris (45) masterclass, they responded with a 79 run second wicket partnership to get things back on track.
Unfortunately for the Warriorz they slowed down again through the middle of their innings, so could not properly capitalise on Harris’ good work.
Before Sciver-Brint went on to have that massive innings with the bat she also had another stellar spell with the ball, taking 3-18 from her four overs. Sanskriti Gupta also impressed, taking two wickets.
