2022 SSN lists: West Coast Fever

A HUGE month of 2022 Suncorp Super Netball signing action is done and dusted, with all eight 10-player teams confirmed for the upcoming season and some intriguing changes amongst the ranks. It is time to run through each of the 2022 team lists, and last up is the West Coast Fever.

The Fever will surely be back with a vengeance in 2022, and with very little changes to their overall list over the past few seasons, there is no reason why they will not be in a finals position once again. Whilst their 2021 season was clouded by historic salary cap issues, expect the Fever to step up under the helm of incoming head coach Dan Ryan and put this season behind them. The Fever have just one change to their name for season 2022, losing developing defensive prospect Olivia Lewis who has headed to the Melbourne Vixens, but they have plugged the hole fairly well and welcome back the remainder of the squad which well and truly has unfinished business. While the pressures of performing with high expectations from fans and competitors alike seemed to get to the Fever during the season, the side has all the puzzle pieces to make them a champion team so will hope 2022 is their year.

Newcomers:

Rudi Ellis (GK)

The lone newcomer to the Fever squad, Ellis is a talented goal keeper hailing from Victoria, and has spent the past two years with the Queensland Firebirds. Ellis can impact quickly on or off the ball credit to her great timing, evasive footwork and a long reach to match, and she will look to further develop her craft and showcase just what she is capable of with the Fever in 2022.
