2022 Suncorp Super Netball fixture released
FANS can now start planning their schedules after the 2022 Suncorp Super Netball fixture was released this morning. The league gave supporters an early Christmas present yesterday with the first round of the 2022 Suncorp Super Netball fixture, but then produced the remainder of the fixture today.
The opening round of the 2022 Suncorp Super Netball fixture kicks off on March 26-27, with two sides who missed finals last year clash at Netball SA Stadium with the Adelaide Thunderbirds and Collingwood Magpies locking horns. That will be followed by the 2021 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final rematch between NSW Swifts and GIANTS Netball at Ken Rosewall Arena that night.
On Sunday, March 27, Queensland Firebirds hosts Melbourne Vixens at Nissan Arena from 1pm, whilst across the other side of the country, Dan Ryan will make his debut as West Coast Fever coach, leading the West Australian side into battle against Sunshine Coast Lightning at 1pm local time. The first round marks the top four sides from last year clashing, and the bottom four sides from last year also clashing.

From there, the Finals take place the following week, with the top two sides battling it out on June 18, and the do-or-die semi-final on June 19. The Preliminary Final will follow the week after on Saturday, June 25, followed by the Grand Final on Saturday, July 2.
Mid-week matches also return in 2022 with Rounds 4 and 10 featuring games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with 25-year anniversaries celebrated in Round 3, and First Nations Round across Rounds 12-13, whilst The Pride Match remains, with the Magpies and Firebirds taking the lead for another year.
The major news for Suncorp Super Netball fans will be the new five-year broadcast deal with the Foxtel Group. It means all Tuesday, Sunday and finals matches will be broadcast live and free on Kayo Freebies.
Netball Australia’s Executive General Manager – Suncorp Super Netball, Events and Commercial, Adam Richardson, said the 2022 fixture delivered for netball fans.
“The sixth season of Suncorp Super Netball shapes up to be the best yet – with so much to look forward to from the opening round and the Grand Final re-match, right through to when the 2022 Premier is crowned,” Richardson said.
