WE are inside the final month of the 2023 ANZ Premiership season, and as such the focus across the league will start turning to the World Cup and players will be trying to prove why they belong on the plane to Cape Town.
It was another strong week of performances across the league, with some positions very tough to fill due to so many stellar performances. The starting goal keeper spot is a prime example of this, with four players all standing out and making it tough to choose who got the spot.
It must also be noted that much like last week, in a tweak to the format only the games that were the reason the player got into the Team of the Week will be highlighted. So although the player may have played multiple games over a weekend, if they were not all Team of the Week worthy performances, they will not all get a mention.
