2024 International Calendar – a look ahead

NOW that the world’s best domestic seasons have all wrapped up, it is time to look ahead to what will be a jam packed international season.

Lets us take a look at some of the international series that have been announced to take place before the end of the calendar year.

Barbados hosts Northern Ireland

The international season actually kicks off later this month when Northern Ireland travels to play Barbados in Barbados.

That series will take place on August 24, 26 and 27 local time, with a warm up game for the Warriors against Barbados’ under 21s taking place on August 23.

Singapore Series

The action then moves along to early September, with the 2024 Series taking place. The series will take place on September 1 to 7, and will see Canada, Kenya, Ireland, UAE, Singapore and a  Singapore A side contest the series.

Taini Jamison Trophy

The international season of the big hitters kicks off in New Zealand, with the Silver Ferns and English Roses battling it out again for the Taini Jamison Trophy. New Zealand won that series two to one last year, so can they do it again?

Test one of the series is in Auckland on September 29, followed by test two in Porirua on the October 2 and test three on October 6 in Ivercargill.

Australia vs England

England will then pop across the Tasman to play the Diamonds in a three match series.

Test one is in Adelaide on September 19, test two is in Sydney on September 22, and the series will wrap up in Bendigo on September 25.

Constellation Cup

After the Roses head home it is time for the Diamonds and Silver Ferns to square off in the Constellation Cup.

It all begins in Wellington on October 20, then the teams travel to Auckland on October 23, before coming to Australia to play the last two matches in Perth (October 27) and Melbourne (October 30) respectively.

England vs Jamaica

After their adventures in the Southern Hemisphere, England wrap up their calendar year by battling Jamaica in a four match series.

The first two matches will take place on November 16 and 17 in Manchester, before the series moves to Kingston for the third and fourth matches on November 25 and 26.
