After taking the leap up to Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) after spending a year as a training partner she really made a splash for the Firebirds. The daughter of head coach Roselee Jencke displayed her impressive timing, attacking mindset and speed. Although still developing her craft, Gardner is an exciting and unpredictable packet for the Firebirds given her youth and further exposure to the SSN will help her to blossom and showcase her bag of tricks.

At just 20-years-old the centre court player packs a punch around the circle edge with her slick hands, quick ball release into the circle and spatial awareness. She is cool, calm and collected for someone so young and is not fazed by the physical tussle around the circle edge.
