WIth timing and speed to match, Shimmin is classy with ball in hand while her rebounding ability is impressive, again down to her aerial cleanliness and vision both on and off the ball. Shimmin currently shares the defensive bibs at the Thunderbirds with Roses teammates Layla Guscoth and Shamera Sterling, creating a crucial defensive trio to rotate through.
