Returning for a second season with the Steel, the defensive midcourter is a reliable option traditionally taking her place in the wing defence bib. While having to earn her stripes off the bench in her debut season, Corkery showed enough to earn another season with the club. Formerly a New Zealand Silver Ferns youth player and coming through the Secondary Schools pathway, Corkery has the experience to add to the team, and offers great versatility to the side.
