Allen is a young up and coming talent for the Sunshine Coast Lightning that will be thriving on the opportunity to have the likes of Karla Pretorius and Phumza Maweni to learn from. Having spent a wealth of time in the Australian Netball League (ANL) Allen will be keen to make the leap up to SSN level and showcase her defensive prowess with her lean over the shot and tenacity to hunt the ball.

The defender is yet to debut but is an exciting prospect and can provide that element of surprise for teams given she is an unknown quantity. Able to play both goal keeper and goal defence Allen has plenty of talent and nous to switch between the two positions easily.
