A teenage talent who stands at 185cm, the goalkeeper has come through the New Zealand Secondary Schools pathway to earn a place on the Steel’s list for 2020 before her 19th birthday in March. While Fifita initially started as a shooter, she has been developed into a talented defender. Her entire family relocated from Oamaru to Invercargill to support the newest Steel full contract member having been a training partner for the past two seasons whilst still in high school.
