A THOUGHT TO PONDER

One obvious realisation one has when reading these stats is the dominance of Jamaicans across the stats referenced above. Six of the nine categories are currently being lead by Jamaicans, with the other three bring lead by Aussies.

Not only are so many categories being lead by Jamaicans, but the top five of many categories include multiple Jamaicans.

This is not the first year where the Jamaicans in the competition have excelled, but they have particularly come to the fore in 2023. Off the back of their record setting efforts at the Commonwealth Games last year and with a World Cup coming around the corner, is this perhaps a sign of a new world order coming?
