Stars reveal 2024 Netball Super League Squad
THE Netball Super League (NSL) off season signing season continues at full pace, with clubs continuing to announce their 2024 squads at various paces.
One club that has not wasted time and just revealed their full squad is the Severn Stars.
Led again by Jo Trip – who is playing again in 2024 – the Stars have made plenty of changes to the team that took to the court in 2023.
Only six members of the 2023 squad are coming back to Worcester in 2024.
Alongside coach Trip and 2023 captain Gabby Marshall, Sigi Burger, Jess Shaw, Rebekah Airey and Jasmine Brown are all coming back to the Worcester side next year.
That means there are also six new faces pulling on the blue and sometimes orange in 2024.
One of the biggest names among the new faces is shooter Betsy Creak, who moves across from Bath.
South African fellow attacker Lefébre Rademan is also joining the Stars in 2024, returning to the NSL for the first time since her year with the Dragons in 2022.
Speaking of the Dragons, Welsh and former Dragon defender Ella Powell-Davies has also made the move across, as has Northern Irish international Niamh Cooper from the Storm.
The final two new faces are former Lightning Suzie Liverseidge and former Pulse Ashleigh Dekker.
These inclusions mean that Grace Namana, Issy Eaton, Lucy Herdman, Kelsie Taylor and Sarah Macphail have all left the club.
Unlike the Saracens Mavericks, the Stars have also named their Training Partners for 2024, with Ruth Hughes, Lily Smith and Jess Haynes all earning the coveted spots.
