COACH: Dan RYAN WORLD CUP DEBUT: 1963 WORLD RANKING: 8 BEST RESULT: 7th Northern Ireland come into the 2019 Netball World Cup with new coach, Dan Ryan. The former Adelaide Thunderbirds coach will bring Australian knowledge to the side, who have drawn a favourable group with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe ranked below the European side. With a number of players taking part in the Vitality Netball Superleague, the quality of Northern Ireland is increasing and Ryan will be keen to push the Diamonds squad having knowledge of their playing styles through his Super Netball coaching days.
