This week in netball: Centre Pass Podcast Fantasy Draft starts to take shape

IT was somewhat of a quiet week in the netball world with very limited Suncorp Super Netball, Vitality Netball Superleague or ANZ Premiership news. However that does not mean the content has stopped with the Draft Central team putting together some interesting positional analysis to compare and contrast the way players go about their business on court. The week also saw the Centre Pass Podcast team delve into their Fantasy Netball Draft and begin to compile their starting seven and explain the choices behind each individual selection with the attacking end starting to well and truly take shape. It also saw a short series documenting a number of Australian netballers switching from the likes of SSN to international competitions with big names such as Madi Browne and Caitlin Bassett headlining the player movements.

Continuing the theme of VNSL features, Team Bath was the focus with the side welcoming former Adelaide Thunderbird and current England Roses defender, Layla Guscoth into the fold in 2021. Team Bath have a good mix of experience and youth heading into the upcoming season with the likes of Serena Guthrie and Eboni Usoro-Brown both set to line up for Bath next season as well.
