POSITION: Small Forward

Dudley, an Adelaide NGA prospect, will be available in the open draft after the Crows chose not to nominate him. The pocket rocket might be the smallest with a Draft Combine invitee at 166cm, but he has the skill, smarts and goal sense to make it as a dangerous forward. Likewise, Dudley brings the heat inside 50, and whilst his consistency and strength are areas he has to build, overall he has plenty of traits to catch the eye.

South Australian coach Tony Bamford described Dudley as the player with the "most natural talent" of this year's draft crop, and it is easy to see why. He has the flair, goal sense, defensive pressure and natural skills to make himself a revelation at the top level. At 166cm, the questions will continue to circulate around his size, and future scope, with Dudley even smaller than Caleb Daniel, and set to be that clever forward pocket. He understandably did not have as much impact at Reserves level as he did at Under 18s, but still averaged around a goal a game. He is one who could prove a lot of people wrong.
