The self-proclaimed best combat athlete of all-time, Henry ‘The Messenger’ Cejudo is one of the many fighters to have translated a decorated wrestling background to success in the MMA realm. As he loves to remind fans of, Cejudo is the only person who boasts both Olympic Gold and a UFC Championship belt, which he extended to two in June of 2019. The fourth ever UFC double-champ, Cejudo was also the first champion to claim the new UFC legacy belt after defeating T.J. Dillashaw in his only Flyweight title defence. While Cejudo’s wrestling is his outstanding strength, his heavy hands and refined striking have improved over the journey, helping him to three TKO victories in his last five bouts. That rate of improvement was also showcased in his 2017 career revamp after losing twice in the previous year and having multiple weight misses early in his UFC life. Cejudo’s heal persona out of the cage has heightened his legend, labelled the ‘King of Cringe’ due to his dividing pre-fight antics.
