Mundy's name will not be new for anyone who watched the Vixens throughout the 2021 Suncorp Super Netball season, however the developing midcourt prospect is technically a newcomer to the main squad in 2022 after playing out the entire season as an emergency player. Despite having to step into the impressive shoes of Liz Watson at the beginning of the season and having a quiet start to the year in an unsuccessful Vixens outfit, Mundy became and underrated unsung hero in the squad with her energy and smarts seeing her build into the season nicely. While typically coming from a defensive midcourt background, Mundy transitioned into the wing attack role seamlessly, and rarely looked out of depth under pressure no matter who she came up against.
A well-deserved elevation, Mundy may not receive as much court time in 2022 but is a key addition to the squad with her versatility, able to cover all three centre court positions. Her reliability is a huge plus in her favour as well as her readymade ability to take the court and play the role without fear, and plenty of awareness of what is required of her. Mundy's smarts, ceiling for improvement and willingness to work hard will surely see her take the court.
