At only 24, Winders has quickly become the leader of the club with her ability to stand up under pressure, command the ball and enforce defensive plays. Able to move between wing defence and centre, Winders is a running machine that can have an impact in both positions. Her work in attack is just as impressive able to hit the circle edge with ease and deliver into the goalers. While her hands over three-foot marking and ability to clog up space in the defensive third is another key component of her game play. Winders is composed, not often frazzled by her opponent and has a high level of endurance often able to outrun her opponent.
