A current mainstay with the West Coast Fever, the defender typically rotates between goal defence and wing defence, using her agile movement and constant pressure to provide turnover ball and form a crucial defensive barrier both in and out of the circle. Recalled to the Roses at the end of 2019, Francis has collected 73 international caps for England thanks to her constant pressing defence and  crafty excitement-generating play. She can be a consistent threat when she is on song, providing a quality physical blockade where required.
