NEXT year’s brightest male and female draft prospects have been named in the 2022 AFL Academies today. Boasting a combination of top-age and bottom-age, both squads have 21 draft-eligible players in them, with the boys’ squad extended to 30 to include nine 2023-draft eligible players, whilst the women’s has an additional six players in their bottom-age year next year. Among them are top pick favourites Will Ashcroft and Ella Roberts. The full lists are below:
