Riddell hit the 30-disposal mark for the third time this season in Round 6, sending her top of said category this week alongside Gold Coast’s Alison Drennan. The prolific Roos accumulator also notched a competition-high 21 kicks, stamping her dominance as one of the league’s form midfielders.

By hand, there were another two leaders this week in Geelong’s Laura Gardiner and Adelaide’s Ebony Marinoff. Both players hit 13 handballs, with the former doing so in a loss to Drennan’s Suns, while the latter played her part in a one-point defeat to the Western Bulldogs.

Also around the action, Fremantle skipper Hayley Miller lead by example with eight clearances, tied with the efforts of Claudia Whitfort this time out. In the tackling department, Geelong’s Nina Morrison got stuck in with an unmatched 11, while her namesake, Mikayla, snared three goals for Freo – her maiden senior majors.

It was a case of death, taxes, and Breann Moody leading the hitout count once again with 30 in her return to the fold, as Richmond skipper Katie Brennan also fared well aerially and around the ground with 10 marks.

As she did in Round 6, Riddell now tops the disposal and kick tallies for the season, with Amy McDonald remaining top of the handball charts. Adelaide’s Ashleigh Woodland is still the leading goalkicker, and teammate Anne Hatchard has the most marks. It is no surprise to see Kiara Bowers claiming the most tackles and clearances, but she is joined by Monique Conti in leading the latter. Meanwhile, Lauren Bella is back atop the hitout list.
