Rookie Me Central’s 2023 AFL Draft full coverage
FOR AFL Draft enthusiasts, fans, club recruiting teams and anyone with a vested interest in the next generation of stars, it is Christmas Eve. Tomorrow night, the first batch of new AFL club recruits will hear their names called out, and Rookie Me Central is the place to read all about them.
While we have been building towards this all year – and indeed the years leading up to it – having watched hundreds of games of draft prospects, we will be on the ground where it counts at Marvel Stadium to bring you plenty of content across the next few days.
Monday, November 20
Rookie Me Central’s Phantom Draft
Set your watches and alarms for midday tomorrow, where we’ll release our 2023 AFL Phantom Draft. We wanted to bring you the most up-to-date information and will include the final draft whispers we hear that morning.
6pm | AFL Draft Final Siren Pre-Draft coverage
Leading up to the first pick in the 2023 AFL Draft, the Final Siren team will provide an insight into the first night of action, some key trends to watch for, and all the latest rumours. As always, we’ll be on hand to answer the questions you’ve sent in via our social media channels.
7pm-10pm | AFL Draft night live content
- Pick-by-pick as they drop via Twitter/X
We will be live-tweeting each and every AFL Draft pick with their Draft Profile, so you will be able to take a deep dive into your newest recruits.
- Interviews with draftees
Our team will be at the mecca of AFL Draft night, chatting to players after they have found their AFL home. Along with interviews, we’ll bring you plenty of live coverage from behind the scenes, so be sure to keep an eye on our Instagram and YouTube channels throughout the night.

Tuesday, November 21

5pm | Night two whispers
Just ahead of the second night’s action, we’ll be back on the phone to see if anything has changed and where the draft sits following Monday night’s first round. Our night two whispers will be released for you to digest.
