Claremont was the top performing club when it came to top five finishes across each event – namely standing and vertical jumps, the 20-metre sprint, agility test, and yo-yo test – with seven. Meanwhile, Ned Reiger accounted for Swan Districts’ high of two top spot placings.

Tiger Eric Cox starred to make the cut in top fives across three events – the running vertical jump, 20m sprint, and agility test. Among those to feature highly in two tests, teammate Hugh Boxshall managed the impressive feat of doing so in a power (running vertical jump) and endurance (yo-yo test) event.

Plenty of highly rated AFL Draft hopefuls also participated. Peel Thunder defender Bo Allan was third in the agility test but did not partake in the jumping events (Achilles strain), while Claremont small Austin van der Struyf came fifth in the 20m sprint.

Fellow state summer squad members Anthony Hansen, Toby Whan, and Luke Bennett were among others to achieve top five placings. Bennett notched the highest running vertical jump, while Hansen (agility test) and Whan (yo-yo) clocked in with respective efforts good enough for second.
