AFL DRAFT | 2025 Indicative Draft Order
THE INDICATIVE order for this year’s AFL Draft has been locked in, although looks set to take a much different final form after the intake is over with. A combination of more bids than has ever been seen and integral trades at the front-end will turn the order on its head, but some clubs are entrenched at the top.

Gold Coast is set to be a prime benefactor of its academy group, boasting two clear top-five chances. Meanwhile, Carlton may be forced to match a bid for its father-son gun as early as pick three, leading to the Blues tabling picks nine and 11 for likely night one trades.
One of the clubs in for those Carlton picks is Essendon, who already has a pair of top-10 selections. The Bombers also have Next Generation Academy talent to consider later in the order, while West Coast and Richmond wield the opening four picks between them as key draft-shapers.
