Tasmanian forward Heath Ollington's season came to life in Queensland when playing for the Allies against Vic Metro, where he had a breakout game. Though he had enjoyed some fantastic form for the Devils at Talent League level, he held his spot and played two national carnival games on the back of a spirited performance. For the title-winning Allies, Ollington averaged 17.5 disposals, 5.5 marks - two contested - and 5.5 inside 50s, utilising his contested work both in the air and at ground level.

He hits the scoreboard consistently, and though he played a higher role at the National Championships and only kicked the one major, he booted 20 in 13 games for Tasmania. In terms of improvements, Ollington could sharpen up his decision making at times, and somewhat presents as a taller marking option despite measuring up at medium size (190cm). Nonetheless, he has left no stone unturned in reaching the elite level and may be a late draft prospect.
