Jemima Wrigley has enjoyed a football journey of consistency and resilience, playing 10 games in the VFL Women's season this year for Southern Saints. Having come down from NSW-ACT after captaining Southern Power and being a member of the Sydney Swans Academy, Wrigley was named in the Southern Saints leadership group and came away with the Coaches Award from the season.

On-field, Wrigley is a natural contested ball-winner who thrives on the inside with clean hands and a high level of defensive pressure. Boasting explosive speed to set herself apart from many other inside midfielders, Wrigley consistently applies 100 per cent effort to each and every game. Her form this season stacked up at VFLW level, and with her extraction ability and natural instincts, Wrigley remains a draftable prospect in 2023.

Additionally, Wrigley was a former national Oztag captain, further showing that her leadership skills are adaptable across codes. At 23, the talented midfielder has the traits to take the next step and would have the capacity to compete for a spot in an AFL Women's midfield.
