Nikhita Spiteri embodies hard work and is one of the better defensive players in the front half from the Coates Talent League Girls. The Murray Bushrangers top-ager has a high endurance base that enables her to run out games and continually applies pressure to the opposition be it through the midfield or when inside 50, which always aids in locking the ball in her side's front half.

Spiteri's natural competitive nature comes to the fore each time she runs out with a team-first attitude in the way she plays. The biggest knock on her game comes in the form of her kicking both from a field and a goalkicking accuracy perspective, but if that can get tidied up, then she has some qualities that cannot be taught easily.

In 2025, Spiteri improved her overhead marking which was a big plus, and enabled her to hold her spot in the Vic Country squad from summer to the national championships where she was selected for three games. Though playing purely forward there, Spiteri booted a goal-a-game and applied 4.3 tackles from 8.7 disposals and 2.3 marks. If she makes it to the top level, her role looms as a pressure forward who can eventually pinch-hit through the middle.
