ALL matches are done and dusted in the SANFL and SANFL Women’s competitions, with a number of upsets, huge victories, and strong individual performances that set the tone for the weekend. Here is the Sunday Scoreboard.

The headline match was the top of the table battle between Central District and Woodville-West Torrens who headed into the round undefeated. With the homeground advantage, the Bulldogs kicked clear with Nick Lange (five goals), Aiden Grace (four) and Hugo Munn (three) all capitalising, while Margarey Medallist Harry Grant racked up 28 disposals in the win. James Rowe was the standout for the Eagles, booting two goals from 34 touches, while Joseph Sinor had 28 disposals and a game-high eight clearances.
Across the round, West Adelaide’s huge win over South Adelaide was not enough to catch Glenelg in fifth spot, with all bottom five places featuring the five ‘Adelaide’ teams. Central District assumed top spot, while fellow undefeated team Norwood sits second just behind on percentage.

This week’s match of the round was clearly between the Eagles and Bulldogs, with Central District coming from behind in the final term to kick the last two goals of the match and win by two points in a thriller. The match report to come tomorrow. In other results, Norwood kept South Adelaide to its lowest score in competition history, all while snapping the Panthers’ five-game winning streak. Ladder leaders Glenelg extended its lead at the top of the table, while West Adelaide handed its North counterparts an eighth straight loss.

West Adelaide 11.4 (70) lost to South Adelaide 11.9 (75)

North Adelaide 10.9 (69) lost to Norwood 11.10 (76)
South Adelaide got on the board for the first time this season, knocking off West Adelaide by five points in a thriller. The Panthers started the year with three straight losses, while the Bloods won six of a possible eight points to start the season, but have since dropped their past two games. Norwood remains undefeated with four wins from as many games, three points clear of second placed Central District.

Similar to the Reserves, South Adelaide finally grabbed its first Under 18s win of the year with a comprehensive 97-point thrashing of West Adelaide. The Bloods have done it tough this season sitting comfortably last and now the only side without a win, while the Panthers’ leapt past Norwood into sixth. The unbeaten Bays are still the side to beat, crushing Sturt by 90 points, while top three sides Central District and North Adelaide both celebrated wins.

Central District was the only club to win all five matches across the weekend, in what was a great day for the Dogs. They romped to a 65-point win over the Eagles at Under 16s level, while the top three sides in Sturt, North Adelaide and South Adelaide were the other winners.
