A player said to have 'Rohr' talent, Claremont ruck Max Rohr has put his name in the draft conversation as an over-ager. The 195cm prospect played a full season in the WAFL Reserves grade, helping his Tigers reach the Grand Final between his representative commitments with Western Australian.
Rohr presents as quite a nimble tall with handy skills, able to clunk the ball overhead and use it well in open play. He showcased great touch for a bigman at the Under 18 National Championships, where he mostly played as a key forward and produced a few fantastic finishes on goal.
Four of his five majors for the Black Swans came against South Australia, where he came to life with two goals in as many minutes. Rohr has the capacity to impact in exciting bursts, but can work on building his endurance base in order to become a more consistent four-quarter performer - especially up forward where he'll likely remain at 195cm.
