AFL SYDNEY’S Premier Division in both the men’s and women’s have confirmed clarity over the upcoming season following the release of the 2025 fixtures on Saturday. In the release the full 18-round fixtures for the competitions officially dropped, with the 10-team Men’s Premier Division and nine-team Women’s Premier Division seasons running concurrently from March 29 through to September 20.
The women’s fixture kicks off with a grand final rematch between reigning premiers East Coast Eagles, and runners-up Manly Warringah Wolves. As part of a three-match round on the Saturday, North Shore Bombers and Pennant Hills Demons go head-to-head which has been deemed the Match of the Round to be televised via Streamer, while Parramatta Goannas face off against UTS Bats.
Round 1 continues with a standalone fixture on the Sunday between UNSW-ES Bulldogs and St George Dragons, the only non-Saturday match for the entire year. Sydney University – coming off a preliminary final – will have to wait an extra week for its season to get underway, with the Students having a bye before taking on Pennant Hills in Round 2.
Each team plays 16 matches – one home and one away against the eight other sides – with two byes. The final round of the season takes place on August 23, with the post-season beginning on the weekend of August 30. The four-week finals series will culminate with the grand final on September 20.

Meanwhile the Men’s Premier Division fixture has the same timeline running from March 29 until August 23 with 18 rounds for the 10 sides.
