TOP 5s | 2026 Queensland Girls Preseason Testing
QUEENSLAND’S top footballing talents were put through their paces over the weekend as the Gold Coast Suns Academy and Brisbane Lions Academy members took part in the Sunshine State’s Preseason Testing event.

The talk of the event was Lily Quigley‘s record-breaking agility test with the former Giants Academy member – now at the Lions Academy – blitzing it thanks to an 8.146-second score to be the fastest ever score for Rookie Me testing records. She also easily won the yo-yo test as well with a high endurance run of level 17.05.
Summer Carriage was the star in the jumps, winning the vertical and coming equal fourth in the running vertical alongside Quigley, while athletic star Aiyana Pritchard recorded measurements of 53cm and 68cm respectively. She was only marginally pipped by fellow National Academy member Mia Geere in the running vertical, as Geere recorded a combine-high 69cm.
The top ranked athlete at the event by Physical Performance Rating (PPR) was 16-year-old Grace Cooper, with the Suns Academy member finishing second in the 20m sprint (3.235 seconds) and fourth in the agility test (8.760 seconds) to record a PPR of 90.6. Also testing well was Abbey Crowe (84.4 PPR) with an equal second in the running vertical jump, and Libby Robinson (87.5 PPR) who was next best behind Quigley in the yo-yo test. Harriet Howe won the 20m sprint with a time of 3.233 seconds.
