2026 SANFLW 15 to Watch: #8 Miyu Endersby
ANOTHER season of SANFL Women’s action is just around the corner, and while the league year is a little later than usual, South Australian footy fans have the brand new AAMI Talent League to look forward to starting February 28. As has become an annual tradition for Rookie Me Central, we name our top juniors from the league to keep an eye on for the year ahead with the only criteria being either top-age or younger.
We continue our top 15 players to watch countdown – which will run over the three weeks to finish on the eve of the Talent League season – with athletic Central District utility Miyu Endersby who looms as one of the potential big improvers from the South Australian program.

Positional Analysis
Endersby had a short crossover period with equally versatile Charlotte Riggs, and then assumed the spot of key defender/ruck from her, developing in those positions throughout her first two SANFLW seasons. While not dabbling up forward as much as Riggs did during her junior career, Endersby has similar athletic traits – particularly in the air – and has enormous upside for the future.
2025 Stats
SANFLW | 7.5 disposals | 1.8 marks | 3.7 tackles | 16.6 hitouts | 1.4 clearances | 1.8 inside 50s | 1.2 rebound 50s | 2 goals (12 games)
AFLW U18s | 6.5 disposals | 1.3 marks | 3.0 tackles | 2.3 hitouts | 1.0 inside 50s | 1.3 rebound 50s (4 games)
Key Strengths
A competitive player both in the air and at ground level, Endersby reads the ball well and can most importantly execute by hand or foot. Her vertical jump stands out and allows her to compete against taller opponents, and often outfoxing stronger ones thanks to the extra hops. Her booming kick can pick out targets through defensive zones, and she brings the defensive pressure coaches love to see from a tall as well.
2026
Endersby will continue her development from the past two seasons and look to build on her strengths and round out the rest of her game, with production and consistency to come with experience. Central District should be thereabouts again, with a new coach – in former coach Shaun Ribbons – but largely a stable playing list, the Dogs are ever dangerous, and Endersby should be at the forefront of that. When at the AFLW Under 18 Championships, she will likely hold down a key position role and give the likes of Kate Alexander a chop out through the middle.
Summary
Endersby is a talented tall with enormous upside. A member of the Adelaide Crows Academy, the utility can only get better over the next 12 months. Two years of SANFLW footy under her belt, it would not be surprising to see her leapfrog plenty on the draft boards given her potential progression.
