TOP 5s | 2026 Talent League Girls Preseason Testing
AN ALL-TIME 20m sprint record at a Rookie Me sanctioned event from Sandringham Dragons speedster Luella Hall headlined a massive Talent League Girls Preseason Testing Day earlier this month. Hall blitzed the clock with a time of 3.065 seconds to clock almost 0.7 seconds faster than any other athlete, including a host of known speedsters.

Hall’s performance was not the only impressive result of the day, with Greater Western Victoria (GWV) tall Lucy Fraser leaping into second place overall with scores of 79 and 69cm in the running and standing vertical jumps respectively. Murray Bushrangers’ Nakiyah Fraser also impressed in both the running vertical jump (76cm) and agility test (8.26 seconds) to finish second and first in those events on the day, and six overall in history.
The gut-running performance of Northern Knights’ Matilda Johnson (18.03 level) in the yoyo test was the fourth best of all-time. The three runners-up in Bendigo Pioneers’ Lacey Nihill, Gippsland Power’s Amy Boote and Oakleigh Chargers’ Molly Phillips recorded a score of 17.08 and it was enough to be equal 10th in history.
While not winning any of the tests, former Bushrangers utility turned Oakleigh ball-winner Sophia Green notched up a testing day-high Physical Performance Rating (PPR) of 92.2, just clear of Fraser and Abbey Ibrahim (90.6). Eastern Ranges’ Mackenzie Ackland, Northern Knights’ Maddison Meagher and Murray Bushrangers’ Eliza Roche were others to notch up multiple top five results.
