SUMMARY: Nathan Richards is a GWS Giants Academy member who has been boarding in Sydney and has come along nicely there. He managed three games for the Allies at the National Under 18 Championships which is impressive considering the amount of talented talls in the side. He played through the ruck and rested forward, averaging 12 hitouts and booting a goal. He stands at 199cm and 104kg so he has the frame to impact straight away, but has to build his endurance and work on his speed. He moves okay for a tall with good agility, and he has great competitiveness and while his rawness means he has plenty of learn, he has a big upside which the Giants will look at.
