Sydney Swans Academy prospect Joey Reinhard is a versatile tall who impressed in both the Academy Series, and for the Allies in the National Championships. Having contributed well up forward for the Swans Academy, he went on to slot into defence for the Allies, timing his intercept marks well and using his agility have an impact once it comes to ground, too. Reinhard has a darting boot on him, which can at times sell him into trouble as he turns the ball over looking for low percentage targets. It does look good as when it comes off, but Reinhard can better play within his limitations and sharpen that decision making to ensure he hits the targets he is capable of. His versatility and strength overhead makes Reinhard an exciting prospect who may be worth a shot, given he can play as a swingman and have a genuine impact on games.
