South Adelaide three-time premiership defender Tiffany King had another ultra-consistent year for the Panthers, playing a key role in the backline. Standing at 179cm, King is not a massive accumulator, but has been the same way for the seven seasons she has played at South Adelaide through the SANFLW. Competitive overhead and one of the best players one-on-one, King looms as an easy readymade option for any AFLW club.

A train-on at Port Adelaide, King has been on the verge of making the step up to the lite level, and throughout the 2025 season it was much of the same, averaging 9.2 disposals, 2.3 marks, 2.1 tackles and 1.7 rebound 50s. So good at nullifying an opponent and beating them in the air or at ground level, King's season highlight - though there were many - came on the biggest stage with a brilliant, goal-saving run-down tackle in defence.

As a whole, King is as readymade of a key defender as you get, and now at 26 years of age, can make an immediate impact at the top level. She has shown enough consistency over many years to show she could slot into a backline anywhere in the country and will just do her job each and every week.
